Former Intel Executive Named President Of Active Voice

SEATTLE - Frank Costa has been named president and chief operating officer of Active Voice.

Costa, whose appointment is effective immediately, will be the first person to fill the new position.

"We've experienced tremendous growth," said Diane Williams, an Active Voice spokeswoman. "We needed an extra manager at the top."

Costa formerly directed U.S. and European marketing efforts at Intel. Most recently, he ran his own high-tech consulting firm, Concept One.

Seattle-based Active Voice makes call-processing systems and computer-telephone integration products.

The company also announced that Robert Greco, a company co-founder, has been named chief technology officer. Edward Masters, formerly director of product development, becomes vice president of product development.
