There's A Great Demand For Food Donations During The Holidays
Residents can help the needy by donating to a food bank or Christmas-gift program. Here is a list of Snohomish County food banks and organizations that will accept donations during the holidays:
Stillaguamish Senior Center, 18308 Smokey Point Blvd., Arlington; (360) 653-4551. Nonperishable food can be brought by from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays.
Darrington Food Bank, Community Services, 660 Emens St.; (360) 436-1833. Food can be brought by from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday through Thursday. Checks can be sent to P.O. Box 696, Darrington, WA 98241.

Snohomish County Holiday Basket Bureau: If you would like to donate food, cash or toys or adopt a family for the holidays, you can call the Everett office at 258-3688 or send a check to Holiday Basket Bureau, P.O. Box 7893, Everett, WA 98201. Or call the Lynnwood office at 672-2218 or mail a check to Community Resource Center, P.O. Box 97012, Lynnwood, WA 98046-9712.
