Welfare Reform -- It's Fantastic That Congress Oks Pay Raise, Then Departs

The biggest welfare situation is Congress with its $133,000 self-voted wages, free postal privileges plus airline and vacation freebies, plus huge retirement benefits.

It's fantastic how the members suddenly pass "generous" minimum pay raises for the hard-working common folks just before Congress takes a vacation.

Why don't they investigate and eliminate the cheating in the welfare and medical system and reduce Congress' paychecks down to the real world?
