Man Arrested In '94 Slaying
SANDPOINT, Idaho - After an investigation of more than two years, a Washington man has been charged in the slaying of a retired Bonner County teacher.
Detectives arrested Daryl Kuehl, 45, Monday in Gig Harbor. He was charged in connection with the February 1994 killing of Paul Gruber. Kuehl is being held without bond in the Pierce County Jail.
Investigators said Kuehl, an acquaintance of Gruber, was the prime suspect from the outset.
