Three Die As Car Runs Stop Sign

YAKIMA - Three young men were killed and a fourth was seriously injured Tuesday when their car ran a stop sign and collided with a pickup.

Police said they were fleeing a drive-by shooting.

Police said six people were in the car when it failed to stop at an intersection. Killed immediately were driver Manuel Garcia Riojos and passenger Lucio Penaloza, both 18. Penaloza's cousin, Eriberto Leon, 14, died of head injuries yesterday in a hospital. Aubdiel Gomez Flores, 18, was in stable condition today after surgery.
