Aris Plans To Merge With Bellevue-Based Sqlsoft
SEATTLE - Aris Corp., an information-technology consulting, training and product-development company, announced today it will merge with Bellevue-based SQLSoft Inc., which specializes in Microsoft's BackOffice product training and consulting.
The May 1 merger will allow Aris to launch a consulting division for BackOffice technologies, which include Microsoft's Windows, Exchange Server, SQL Server, Systems Management Server and SNA Server programs.
In the past, Aris has focused its training on large companies that use Oracle technologies. Many large companies have begun using a combination of Oracle and Microsoft products.
Paul Song, Aris founder and president, valued the merger at more than $6 million. It will include a stock swap between the two companies. SQLSoft will be integrated into Aris.
