Heath Printers Purchased By Texas Firm; No Layoffs Seen
SEATTLE - Heath Printers, one of the Puget Sound area's oldest commercial printers, was purchased yesterday by Ennis Business Forms Inc. for an undisclosed price.
Ennis is a Texas commercial printing company with 40,000 dealers nationwide. It will give Heath financial backing and greater access to customers, said Dan Sturgeon, general manager of Heath.
Heath will still be managed locally by Sturgeon and company President Terry Page, the former co-owners. None of the firm's 49 employees will be laid off, Sturgeon said.
