Hanley Is Metro AA Volleyball Player Of Year

Jamie Hanley of Holy Names was voted the Class AA Metro League volleyball player of the year by league coaches.

Blanchet's Joanne Gilligan and Hale's Yvonne Dowell were selected as the co-coaches of the year.

Seattle Prep had two players voted to the first team (Jessie Berlage and Shannah Kohls), as did Blanchet (Holly Millard and Andrea Spadoni).

Rounding out the first team were Ballard senior Nina Powers and Lakeside's Yael Varnado-Rhodes.

Roosevelt garnered three AAA all-Metro selections - seniors Megan Johnson, Reid Patrick and Nicole Trehearne. Garfield's Barb Ream and Kelly Randels made the team, as did Franklin's Adriana Johnson. 1995 Metro volleyball all-stars
