Banana Pages Arrived On Net Before Yellow Pages Did

Given the article about online yellow pages that appeared in Tech News of the Personal Technology section (Oct. 22), I felt you should know:

1. NTD Publishing, which publishes the Banana Pages, is one of the oldest and most respected Yellow Pages publishers in the nation.

2. NTD brought full-color Yellow Pages to the Puget Sound area in 1995.

3. On Sept. 5, NTD launched the Internet version of its Yellow Pages. This was one of the first true Yellow Pages on the Internet.
