Sonics Sign Eric Snow
The Seattle SuperSonics announced yesterday that they signed Eric Snow, a second-round draft choice, to a two-year contract. Terms of the contract were not disclosed.
Snow, 22, was the Big Ten's defensive player of the year last season at Michigan State. He finished fourth in the nation in assists, averaging 7.8. Snow was drafted in the second round (43rd overall) by Milwaukee. The Bucks traded him to the Sonics, who gave up their second-round pick Eurelejus Zukaukas and rights to their second-round pick in 1996.
"He had an outstanding rookie camp for us and we think he has a bright future as a point guard in the NBA," Sonic President Wally Walker said.
