Paccar Gets Full Ownership Of Mexican Subsidiary

BELLEVUE - Paccar Inc., manufacturer of Kenworth and Peterbilt trucks, has acquired full ownership of Vilpac, its Mexican subsidiary.

Previously, Paccar held a 55 percent stake in the company, which makes Kenworth trucks in Mexicali, Baja California, for distribution in Mexico. The price of the acquisition was not disclosed.

Gustavo Vildosola Castro, chairman of Vilpac, will become emeritus life president. David Hovind, president of Paccar Inc., also will serve as Vilpac chairman.
