Seen, Heard, Said

Yesterday we had rumors (and denials) that Sally Field and Burt Reynolds are rekindling an old flame. Today we have other romantic reruns:

-- Steve Martin and Victoria Tennant are allegedly an item. They were divorced in 1993 after seven years of marriage.

-- Daryl Hannah and Jackson Browne are supposedly seeing each other again. This despite her allegations that he abused her before.

-- The on-again, off-again pairing of Jim Carrey and Lauren Holly is supposedly switched back to On and People says she's moved into his new $4 mil Pacific Palisades house.

Another duo that is back together - at least for one appearance - is Carly Simon and James Taylor, who last harmonized in 1979. They'll do an Aug. 30 benefit for the Martha's Vineyard Agricultural Society. They both live (separately, of course) on the island. The event is called Livestock '95. Cute.

Things happen: This week's Entertainment Weekly has a big spread on "90210's" Tiffani-Amber Thiessen, including a photo of her with boyfriend Brian Austin Green. But ooops! Hot off the wire is an item saying she's moved out on Green after catching him with others. Query: Do people with three names have to date other people with three names? Like, does Tiffani-Amber now have to go hunting for Daniel Day-Lewis? Andrew Lloyd Webber? Chester Alan Arthur? (Oh, go look him up.)

Rocker Gregg Allman is being sued by the mother of the late porn star Savannah for allegedly leading her daughter astray. Savannah (real name Shannon Wilsey) killed herself a year ago at age 23. A lawyer for her mother Pamela Longoria said the rocker "exposed (Wilsey) to drug-taking and various chemicals . . . as a minor," and she became a drug addict "under his care." Allman's manager said the suit is "not even worthy of a statement." Savannah was also linked to Slash and Pauly Shore.

The wire says Barbra Streisand is seeing either (a) Jon Voight or (b) Connecticut Sen. Chris Dodd. Meanwhile, People says Babs has rented a yacht with close friend designer Donna Karan and the two are spending part of the summer in the waters off New England.

How can you tell Divine Brown from John Bobbitt? No - not that way. John did a porn movie and Divine reportedly has turned one down. She will, however, be getting $25,000 to model lingerie for a Brazilian company, according to her agent. And, as far as we know, John won't.
