Northwest Colleges -- Yakima Linebacker Signs With WSU

PULLMAN, Wash. - Malcolm Stewart, a 6-foot-4, 240-pound linebacker from Eisenhower High School at Yakima, has signed a national letter of intent with Washington State University.

Stewart is the 13th high-school player to sign with the Cougars and only the fourth from the state of Washington in a class heavily dominated by Southern California prospects.

Stewart was a Big Nine Conference first team pick his junior and senior years and a Class AAA All-State first team pick his senior season.
