The Simpson Trial

WITNESSES Denise Brown: Nicole Brown's look-alike elder sister broke down in tears as she recounted two occasions when Simpson had humiliated his wife during the 1980s - once at a bar where he grabbed her crotch and yelled, "This is mine" and once at his home where he flew into a rage, threw Nicole against a wall and dumped her outside.

Carl Colby, Catherine Boe: Two of Nicole Simpson's former next-door neighbors said O.J. Simpson once parked around the corner from her house late at night and stood outside, seemingly trying to peer into the window. They called the police before realizing who it was. Boe, Colby's wife, also said she'd overheard the Simpsons quarreling about sex and had learned about trouble in their relationship from visiting them.

ANOTHER WHO SAW 4 MEN? Leif Tilden told prosecutors he saw four white men near Nicole Simpson's condominium the night she was slain. Prosecutors said they had interviewed Tilden within the previous 24 hours but suggested his account does little to bolster the claim of defense witness Mary Anne Gerchas, who also allegedly saw four men leaving the area of the murders.

NEW BRONCO SIGHTING John McKinnon, a retired plumber from Los Angeles' Brentwood section, has told investigators he spotted a white Ford Bronco at 10:35 p.m. June 12 about two blocks from the scene of the murders. McKinnon says he jotted down a partial license-plate number, thinking the agitated driver was drunk. The first three numbers indicated on the police report match the plate of Simpson friend Al Cowlings' white Bronco.

SON PLEADS Jason Simpson, O.J. Simpson's oldest son, pleaded no contest to two misdemeanor charges stemming from an October hit-and-run accident. No one was hurt. He was placed on three years' informal probation and fined $700.
