Tribe Won't Play Trump Card
MARYSVILLE - Never mind, Donald.
The Tulalip Tribes announced yesterday that Donald Trump will not participate in their planned resort/business park that would include a casino, hotel, restaurant, golf course, ancestral museum and shops.
For two years the Tulalips have owned and operated their own, successful casino. The new project is to be built in the future Tulalip Business Park, off Interstate 5's 116th Street exit, north of the existing casino.
Now the Tulalips are negotiating with Seven Arrows Investment and Development Corp., a New York-based tribal gaming company that is a wholly owned Native-American consulting operation. The Tulalips and Seven Arrows "have jointly agreed" that Trump will not participate in the new venture, they said yesterday.
