Cascade View To Get New Principal

TUKWILA - Wayne Hamasaki, vice principal of Hickam Elementary School in Honolulu, has been named principal of Cascade View Elementary School.

He replaces former principal Karen Abbott-Custer, who will be a planning principal in the coming school year.

Hamasaki was a teacher for five years before becoming an administrator. Hickam Elementary won the U.S. Department of Education's Drug-free School Award last year.
