Plane-Crash Victims Identified

WENATCHEE - Two victims in Saturday's plane crash at Lake Wenatchee Emergency Airstrip were identified yesterday as Kathleen Ann Straker, 40, and Mark Lawrence Straker, 40, from Bothell.

The third victim was identified by the Chelan County coroner as Ketti Dalton Schnoonover, 27, of Seattle.

According to Kathleen's father, Lloyd Howard, the trio were intending to fly to Tacoma but stopped in Chelan County for a picnic lunch. Their plane, a Piper single-engine Tri-pacer, crashed as it was climbing on takeoff.

Howard said the Strakers met while skydiving and that they were both pilots who enjoyed the peacefulness of flying.
