Street Style -- Designs And Fabrics By Darbury Stenderu

Seattle artist and designer Darbury Stenderu finally feels like she's "on the verge of something."

She can't quite put her finger on it, but the artist who "thought I'd quit doing this every year up until two years ago," is on the brink of fashion stardom.

Her bold use of color in her hand-painted and hand-printed fabrics adorn the original designs for women and men on display in her Belltown store.

Colorful dresses, shirts, blouses, hats, scarves and even buttons complement the Stenderu-designed furniture and fabrics that decorate the store. Not one to miss details, Stenderu even designs the metal work on the display racks.

Everything she makes is one-of-a-kind. Explaining this, she says "by only doing one-of-a-kind, you keep moving."
