Wall Data Forms New Unit For Database Software

SEATTLE - Wall Data Inc. has formed a new business unit to market David Kroenke's "semantic object modeling" technology.

The software allows developers and users to structure data in the language of their business, rather than in that of the database.

Wall Data provides software to support several computer programs, including Windows.

Eileen Hicken Gittins, former Wall Data manager for original equipment manufacturing and strategic relations, is vice president and business unit manager for the new unit; Kris Kelsay, formerly Paradox group product manager at Borland International, is marketing manager; and Kroenke is technologist.
