Friday's Boys Basketball -- Seattle Christian Drubs Chimacum
CHIMACUM - David Taylor scored 14 points to lead four players in double figures as Seattle Christian crushed Chimacum 89-49 Friday night in a Nisqually League boys basketball game.
The Warriors improved to 5-3 in the league, 7-4 overall. Chimacum fell to 1-7 and 2-10.

Mount Rainier 74, at Tyee 54 - The Rams (5-3, 5-5) were led by Jamar Tymony's game-high 27 points in the Seamount win. Ricci Smith had 14 and David Bosshart added 13 for Tyee (0-8, 1-9).
At Franklin Pierce 96, Tahoma 81 - The game was tied entering the final quarter, but the Cardinals catapulted to a 16-point lead just three minutes later to earn the Pierce County League victory. James Gaines poured in 35 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for Franklin Pierce (2-6, 2-8) while Ron Childress scored all 17 of his points in the second half. George Czarnowski led Tahoma (2-6, 3-7) with 25.
At Enumclaw 71, Washington 53 - Mark Warren struck for 10 points in the first quarter to propel the Hornets (5-3, 6-4) to an 18-9 lead en route to the PCL win. Enumclaw shot 63 percent from the field and 90 percent at the free-throw line, including sinking 15 of 16 in the final period. Paul Felker scored 19 points and Jay Grigsby added 14 for the Hornets. Justin Adam of Washington (6-2, 7-3) led all scorers with 24.
At Peninsula 79, Fife 41 - Gabe Van Guse scored 20 points, Matt Easley added 18 and Sean Bagley 15 to lead the Seahawks (5-3, 8-3) to the PCL win. Peninsula shot 64 percent from the floor and held Fife's leading scorer, Calit Juma, to nine points.
At Foster 75, Orting 44 - Bam Louis racked up a season-high 36 points in the Nisqually League win. Sean Alcott and Nate Louis each added 10 for Foster (5-3, 8-4). Dustin Thornton scored 15 for Orting (1-6, 1-10).
At Cedarcrest 80, Sultan 68 - Tommy Quinn scored 22 points and Jacob Predmore scored 13 points, grabbed 10 rebounds and blocked four shots to lead Cedarcrest (5-0, 12-1 overall) in the Cascade A League. Scott Farnworth and Kevin Boblet added 12 points each for the Red Wolves. Kevin McDaniel scored 16 to lead the Turks (1-4, 6-7).
Bellevue Christian 41, at King's 40 - Steve Bauer hit a 10-foot jumper with 32 seconds left to give Bellevue Christian the Cascade A League win. Matt Huyser led the Vikings (4-1, 8-5) with 17 points. Bauer finished with 11. Clayton Bland led King's (4-2, 8-5) with 17 points.
At Olympic 55, North Kitsap 47 - The Trojans (1-0, 5-7) rebounded from a one-for-13, first-quarter shooting drought that saw them fall behind 16-6 to outscore the Vikings 33-16 in the second on the way to victory in their Olympic League opener. Ryan Dotson led Olympic with 13 points. David Lord scored 20 for North Kitsap (0-1, 1-10).
King's West 57, at Seattle Academy 30 - Nate Kuske scored all 10 of his points in the first quarter, and Ryan Comstock scored 18 of his 20 in the second half for King's West in the Sea-Tac B League game. Seattle Academy fell to 0-6 in league, 3-7 overall.
At Overlake 54, Kent View Christian 27 - Sophomores Eric Placko (15 points), Jeff Bamer (10 points) and Kurt Cross (seven steals) powered the Owls (6-5) to the nonleague win. B.J. Watts scored 11 for Kent View Christian.
At Everett 54, Marysville-Pilchuck 49 - Jessen Schilaty scored 10 of his 14 points in the first quarter to lead Everett to an upset victory over Marysville-Pilchuck in a Western AAA Conference game.
Everett (5-2, 8-3) led 21-4 after the first period against first-place Marysville-Pilchuck (6-1, 7-4).
Marysville-Pilchuck rallied for a 44-42 lead early in the fourth quarter, but Everett made 10 of 11 free throws in the period for the victory. Cory Rettenmier made all eight of his free throws in the quarter for Everett.
Mike Pedersen had 17 points and eight rebounds for Everett. Justin Brager scored 11 points and Darrell Walker had 10 for the Tomahawks.
Mariner 61, at Edmonds-Woodway 58 - Dante Bunch hit a three-point shot with one minute left for the Marauders. Carlos Jones had 21 points and 10 rebounds for Mariner (5-3 in league, 8-4 overall). Bunch scored 20 points and Brian Zimmerman 11 for the Marauders. Chris Thompson had 24 points and Andrew Leckie 12 points and 10 rebounds for the Warriors (4-3, 7-4).
