Outlook - The Lancers are rich with experience, but lost a key cog in league MVP Marne Maloney. With Meier stepping to the forefront, though, they could well win their fifth straight Seamount title. Improvements in practice will be necessary for long-term success.
LIBERTY PATRIOTS
Coach - Kim McManus, seventh season.
1992 record - 8-5 league (second), fourth in Seamount tournament, eliminated in AA SeaKing tournament.

Outlook - With better-than-average height and a scrappy defense, the Patriots think they can challenge the front-runners. The key, according to McManus, is getting the right combination of players on the floor.

Outlook - Communication on the court and a hustling defense are musts for the Rams, who lack overall height. Their serving looks much improved, but they still need work in all areas.

Outlook - The Indians face another uphill battle with a small squad - in both numbers and height. Defense and passing are the keys. Hild expects improvement this season, and perhaps a few upsets.

Coach - Burt Pride, third year.

Outlook - Pride believes the Wolves can play with anybody in the league and says the key is getting his players to believe that. They hit well and have good court coverage, but need to take the next step up.

Outlook - Koch can really get off the floor and is a force at the net. The Highlanders generally play tough defense. That and improving on their serves are the keys.
LINDBERGH EAGLES
Coach - Rafael Munoz, third year.

Outlook - Most of the Eagles are in their third year of playing together and have good court sense. To be successful, they must play good defense and be smart on the attack.

Outlook - Bettes and Fury are a strong setting combination and will help the Wildcats challenge for another division title. Good defense is a must.
