Husband Indicted In Wife's Murder Six Years Ago

HILLSBORO, Ore.

A man whose wife was found bludgeoned to death in her van along Highway 26 west of Portland six years ago has been indicted for murder.

Bradly Morris Cunningham Sr., 44, was indicted Thursday by a Washington County grand jury and was arrested later that day in Everett. He was being held in the Snohomish County Jail under $2.5 million bail.

Cunningham is charged with the death of his 36-year-old wife, Cheryl Keeton, a trial lawyer in private practice. The couple were embroiled in a bitter divorce at the time of Keeton's death and a custody dispute over their three young sons.

The Snohomish court has scheduled an April 23 extradition hearing.

Cunningham now lives in Lynnwood with his three sons, 13, 11 and 9.
