Lindros Found Innocent In Koo Koo Bananas Trial

-- COURTS

Eric Lindros was acquitted in Oshawa, Ontario, today on charges he poured and spit beer on a woman.

Lindros, who plays for the Philadelphia Flyers, was found innocent by Justice Rhys Morgan, who said defense evidence raised reasonable doubt.

Morgan suggested Lindros drop countercharges against Lynn Nunney, 24, a factory worker who alleged he spat and poured beer on her last Nov. 29 at a nightclub called Koo Koo Bananas.

Lindros, 19, alleged she poured beer on him.

He said he wasn't going to try to avoid similar situations in the future. "I'm a kid, and I like to do the things that kids do," he said.
