Generra Sells Hypercolor Plant To New Company

SEATTLE

Generra Sportswear Co. has completed sale of its Hypercolor screen printing plant to the Seattle T-Shirt Co., the companies announced yesterday.

The recently formed Seattle T-Shirt also has acquired from Generra the license to market Hypercolor products - which respond to temperature changes - for U.S. distribution, the companies announced.

The Seattle T-Shirt team includes company president Norm Nelson, who oversaw the Hypercolor plant under Generra and is a former president of CMS Casuals; and company chairman Bruce Merrell, former president of Pacific Northern Oil.

Generra Sportswear will continue to market the Hypercolor label in about 30 foreign countries.
