Three Repeat In Kingco -- Tarr, Cadigan And Daly Again Selected For Volleyball All-Star Team

Three repeaters are among the selections for the 1992 KingCo Conference all-star volleyball team.

Named to the team for the second straight year were Heather Tarr of Redmond, Meggan Cadigan of Woodinville and Arwen Daly of Juanita. All three were picked as outside hitters, and all are seniors.

Inglemoor, which finished fifth in the KingCo standings, was the only team to have two players named to the eight-player first team - middle blocker Brittany Baskin and setter Tammy Duong. Both are seniors.

Leslie Derrig, a junior middle blocker, was named from KingCo champion Bellevue.

The other first-team selections were Debi Butler, a setter from Sammamish, and Christine Laury, a senior middle blocker from Mercer Island.

The KingCo Conference had three entries in the Class AAA state tournament last weekend in Spokane, but Woodinville, Inglemoor and Bellevue didn't make it out of Friday's pool play with a combined match record of 1-8. Woodinville, the Wes-King bi-district champion, went 1-2 while Inglemoor and Bellevue each lost three matches.
