Ex-Boyfriend Charged With Murder
EVERETT - A Seattle man who allegedly harassed and assaulted his ex-girlfriend for several years before stabbing her to death last month was charged yesterday with her murder.
Miloh Perez, 20, is being held on $250,000 bail in the Snohomish County Jail. He was charged with second-degree murder in the death of Judy Lloyd.
Lloyd told a friend on the phone Sept. 15 that Perez's mother had warned her that Perez might be on his way to see her, said Deputy Prosecutor Steve Garvey in papers filed in Snohomish County Superior Court.
Suddenly, Lloyd said she had to go.
The friend called back several times until Perez allegedly answered the phone, Garvey said. The friend called 911.
Six minutes later, 911 dispatchers received two calls from neighbors saying Lloyd had been stabbed in the back.
Lloyd's 4-year-old son told police he was outside riding his bicycle when he heard his mother scream for help and saw her running with a knife in her back, allegedly being chased by Perez, Garvey
said.
