Spider Staging Buyout Approved By Shareholders

Spider Staging Corp.'s shareholders have approved a merger with Flow International Corp.

Spider is a Tukwila-based company that supplies power-driven scaffolding equipment to the construction and maintenance industries. Flow, a public company based here, is a leading manufacturer of high-pressure waterjets used for industrial cutting and cleaning. Last month, Flow agreed to acquire Spider's outstanding shares.

Flow hopes the deal will enhance both companies, whose products are used in tandem on construction projects. Spider has 16 branch locations in the United States that will help Flow market and service its products.
