Young Woman's Worry Over Prison - Ferrari, Lack Of Sex

NEW YORK - A Long Island teenager, in a secret videotape made hours before she pleaded guilty to shooting her lover's wife, expressed just a single concern about her upcoming jail time: the lack of sex behind bars.

Amy Fisher, whose lawyer has portrayed her as a naive victim, also boasts about outfoxing the media and says she hopes all the publicity will help her get a new Ferrari.

Fisher, who at age 18 is facing a five-to-15-year jail term, repeatedly makes sexual overtures to boyfriend Paul Makely on the tape.

"I asked (defense lawyer Eric Naiburg) if I could get conjugal visits. He said, `Get married.' I said, `Eric, you're a miracle worker. There's got to be a way.' Maybe that's going to be his next project," Fisher says.

"He's going to go to the Supreme Court . . . because people should be able to have sex in jail if they're not married. I told him I'd be his client."

Fisher is jovial and sexually graphic in the tape, which was apparently made in a gym co-owned by Makely.

The syndicated TV tabloid show, "Hard Copy," which obtained the tape, refused to disclose any details about where it came from or to say if it was purchased.

But Naiburg said it was obvious his client had been used by Makely for a profit.

"I know she was set up by a man who we put our trust in for his own financial gain," Naiburg said. "It's horrendous, vile, and disgusting. . . . It has devastated her."

The tape, which runs nearly 100 minutes, was to be aired on "Hard Copy" for a week beginning yesterday.

"I want to keep my name in the press," Fisher says at one point. "I can make a lot of money. If I have to go through this pain and suffering, I am getting a Ferrari."

That comment infuriated Joseph and Mary Jo Buttafuoco. Fisher has admitted shooting Mrs. Buttafuoco, leaving one side of her face paralyzed. Authorities said Fisher was having an affair with her husband.

"Amy Fisher says she wants a Ferrari for her pain and suffering - what about my pain and suffering?" Mary Jo Buttafuoco said through her lawyer. "What I have to look forward to is an abnormal life."

Her husband's attorney, Marvyn Kornberg, agreed: "This is very embarrassing for the DA's office. She'll do anything for money or sex."

The tape is unlikely to affect the plea-bargaining agreement under which Fisher received her jail term for reckless assault, prosecutors said. The teen was initially charged with attempted murder.
