Ihop Corp. Buys 13 Jb's Restaurants
GLENDALE, Calif.
IHOP Corp. has closed the purchase of 13 JB's restaurants in Washington and Oregon as part of a deal to acquire 23 JB's for $4.5 million.
IHOP said it will close on the rest of the acquisitions by the end of September and convert all of them to International House of Pancakes restaurants within six months.
After conversion of the restaurants, IHOP will operate 19 restaurants in Washington and 16 in Oregon. The company already operates 510 restaurants in 35 states, Canada and Japan.
JB's restaurants in this area are in Issaquah, Kent, Lakewood, Olympia, Renton and Tacoma.
