Update -- Topless Housecleaning Owner Hit By Drug Charges
EVERETT
A man and a woman who allegedly agreed to provide an undercover detective with cocaine and the services of a prostitute now face felony charges in Snohomish County Superior Court.
Marcus Torres, 24, was charged yesterday with delivery of cocaine and second-degree promoting prostitution. Kimberly Deveny, 25, also was charged with delivery of cocaine.
Torres posted $5,000 bail after he was arrested earlier this month, Deputy Prosecutor Scott Olson said.
Torres already faces several misdemeanor charges for allegedly operating a topless housecleaning service called Divest Housekeeping. Two other women who allegedly worked for the company also face charges that they violated Lynnwood's adult entertainment zoning ordinance.
Torres allegedly agreed to provide a Snohomish County sheriff's detective with cocaine and prostitutes for a private party, Olson said in court papers.
