Hertzberg Coin Company Is Under New Ownership

Hertzberg Rare Coin Investments Inc. a dealer of gold and silver U.S. coins, has a new owner.
The Inc. 500 company is now owned by Todd Imhof, who paid an undisclosed amount of cash to Hertzberg's founder, Jack Hertzberg. Imhof, now chief executive, is a business partner of Hertzberg's who has been working as the company's director of investment.
The new company is called TLI Numismatic Trading Corp. Imhof gets Hertzber's portfolio of investors and collectors.
Hertzberg will keep the old company name, dealing mainly with coin wholesalers and auctioneers. The two will still work in the same office.
Hertzberg has appeared on the Inc. 500 list of the nation's fastest growing companies for three consecutive years. With 1990 sales of nearly $15 million, it was ranked the 134th fastest growing company in the Dec., 1991 issue of Inc.
