Bergh Is Re-Elected Mayor Of Mountlake Terrace

MOUNTLAKE TERRACE

Mayor Roger Bergh was re-elected by his fellow City Council members last night to be mayor for the next two years.

Bergh, 54, has been mayor since June 1990, several months after former Mayor Dale Strait retired. He has served on the council since January 1990.

An assistant project engineer with the state Department of Transportation, Bergh is a member of the executive board of the Puget Sound Regional Council.

A longtime resident of the city, he was a council member from 1976 to 1980 and served on the Planning Commission for several years before that.
