Clubs All Over Seattle Will Turn Up The Heat On New Year's Eve

New Year's Eve is Tuesday, so if you haven't made plans, it might be time.

A lot of the bigger events are sold out, including Queensryche concerts (also Wednesday) at the Coliseum, the Lovemongers at Parker's. But tickets still are available for many events.

Top comedian Rita Rudner is at the Seattle Improv ($25, with dinner and drink packages available).

The Space Needle's annual "Times Square of the West" extravaganza includes music by the Beatniks and a countdown to midnight, with special lighting on the Needle. Several TV and radio stations will broadcast from the site. And this one's free.

Club action will be hot, especially in the Pioneer Square area, Belltown and the clutch of clubs in Ballard.
