Investor Oscar Pong Plans To Build A Seatac Hotel
SEATAC
Low-profile hotel investor Oscar Pong wants to build an 86-room hotel on International Boulevard here. The 37,000-square-foot project currently is being reviewed by the city for its potential impact on the environment.
Pong, who owns National Investment Corp., of Bellevue, is the sole investor in the project. "It seems like there is a shortage of hotel rooms (in SeaTac) in the summertime," Pong says.
Pong has yet to find a contractor to build the hotel, or a management team to run it. He would not say how much the four-story building would cost. Pong owns other motels and hotels in the Seattle area.
