Fatal Plane Crash

Fatal plane crash: Rescue workers remove a body from one of two Cessna 172s that crashed during a snowstorm Tuesday evening in northwest Washington, killing six people. The wreckage of one plane was found near Lake Samish in Whatcom County, the other in northern Skagit County. The victims were from Trinity Western University in Langley, B.C., and were headed home from a spring-break trip to California. Killed in one plane were Teena Daly, 22, of Quesnel, B.C.; Jeff Helzer, 24, of Peachland, B.C.; and Terry Townsend, 34, of Clearbrook, B.C. In the second plane were flight instructor Graeme Seath, 24, of Langley, and students Danny Penner, 18, of White Rock, B.C., and Al Karim Merall, 21, of Outremont, Quebec.
