Second Arrest Made In Beating Death

A second man was arrested yesterday in connection with the death of a Tigard man whose tied and beaten body was found inside his home north of this Portland suburb on Monday.

Donovan J. Shelton, 19, of Portland was arrested in Spokane early yesterday in the slaying of Bill Bigoni, 32 and charged with first-degree murder, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle and first-degree theft.

Another man, also 19 and from Portland, was arrested Tuesday in connection with the slaying.

Police said Bigoni met the two men in downtown Portland and invited them to his home. The three apparently got into an argument that preceded the slaying.
