`Les Miserables' Coming To Seattle

The international megahit ``Les Miserables'' is coming to Seattle next year as part of the second season of the 5th Avenue Musical Theatre Company.

The musical adaptation by two Parisians, Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg, of Victor Hugo's novel has been a huge success ever since the Royal Shakespeare Company presented its English-language premiere in 1985. It will be performed at the 5th Avenue Theatre Feb. 26-March 10, 1991, by the national touring company sent out by the show's London-based producer, Cameron Mackintosh.

The 5th Avenue Musical Theater Company's 1990-91 season also will include Sigmund Romberg's ``The Desert Song,'' Lionel Bart's ``Oliver!'' and Andrew Lloyd Webber's ``Evita.''
